On Monday evening we had a nice evening at the inn z Engelsberg. The food was excellent and the hosts and service staff were very nice. Highly recommended. We would love to come back.

After a long day we wanted to go out to eat with the family, the waitress was relatively nice at the beginning and immediately asked us about drinks and said she would bring the menu straight away. When we got our drinks, the lady said that there was no warm kitchen until 5 p.m. We felt a bit ripped off. If she had told us that from the start, it would not have been a problem, but it doesn't work, first lure the guests with food and drinks and then at the end, they say there will be food in 1 hour. Come from the industry yourself, you don't do that! Sry.

Nice old Bavarian inn with flair. Very good kitchen; attentive service and friendly host. Very child-friendly with great toys for the little ones. Well worth it for celebrations or as a detour if you are nearby.

Great host and great team! We always like to go there. Super tasty Bavarian food but also tasty spare ribs and burgers are available. Our guests have stayed in the hotel several times and were completely satisfied.

Very good inn. Typically Bavarian. Very friendly hosts and servants! Also recommended for overnight stays.

Good home-style food. The inn was modernized a few years ago. But still carries its charm. In summer there is a beer garden and there are many weddings there.

Nice guest house with a large hall staff always very nice. Room modern but rustically furnished Unfortunately no air conditioning in the rooms and the street very noisy at night the windows are hardly possible

The food was very tasty, the onion roast beef with cheese spaetzle and the “chocolate factory” for dessert are particularly recommended. Very nice service. Unfortunately, the bright white light in the guest room is anything but cozy. Still 5 stars because of the food.

A beautiful hotel, spotless rooms and wonderful food, all in the glorious setting of the Bavarian countryside. If your lucky you'll have a wonderful view of the Alps from your window.

Clean room and really nice service. It's a big house with a lot of functions on the weekends. Breakfast was nice as well!
